Elk Rapids Marina on the north end of Elk Lake was the first marina in Michigan — and the anchor location of the Fresh Coast Corridor — to install an Aqua superPower marine fast charger, operational since 2022. The marina is also the Midwest distribution partner for X Shore electric boats and hosted the 2023 Michigan E-Marine Summit, the largest gathering of electric boats ever held in fresh water.
