The Lasai 22GL is a 6.8-metre solar-electric day boat designed for efficient coastal use rather than sustained high-speed running. Its current specification combines twin electric pod drives, a battery of up to 58 kWh and a hardtop carrying up to 1.5 kWp of photovoltaic capacity. Lasai lists room for eight people, an eight-knot cruise and a 15-knot maximum. The headline range—more than 100 nautical miles at six knots—was verified by Bureau Veritas, but it is a low-speed result and should not be read as the range at cruise or maximum speed. The open layout includes a stern sun pad, convertible helm seat, fixed bow table and 80 cm swim platform. A SIMRAD multifunction display integrates navigation and energy-system information at the helm.
