About the Mighty G

The Mighty G is Godfrey's smallest pontoon, designed from the outset to accept electric or gasoline outboards. Cruise and Fishing layouts share a 15-foot-8-inch hull and six-person capacity. The Cruise version uses twin bow benches and a captain's chair, while the Fishing version substitutes individual bow fishing seats and open casting access. Both sit on 23-inch outer pontoons and weigh about 1,250 lb dry before motor and batteries. Godfrey's launch material listed Torqeedo Cruise 3.0, 6.0 and 12.0 electric choices, but the current model page does not identify one electric package as standard. It also allows gasoline engines up to 50 hp. That means the previous Yamaha Harmo, speed and range figures should not be treated as a universal Mighty G specification.

Godfrey's current page does not publish model-specific electric speed or range. Those values depend on whether the boat uses a 3, 6 or 12 kW electric motor, battery capacity, passenger load and wind. The old 9.7 mph and 14.8-mile figures have been removed pending a configuration-specific source.

Battery and Charging

Battery and charger are tied to the selected electric outboard rather than a fixed hull specification. Ask the dealer to identify motor, usable kilowatt-hours, charger power, shore connection, charge time and whether the battery and charger are included in the advertised package price.
