Greenline 39 packages hybrid cruising into a manageable single-engine, two-cabin boat. The layout keeps the cockpit and saloon on one level, adds a starboard helm door for quick deck access and uses an electrically opening bathing platform to extend the social area at anchor. Four roof-mounted photovoltaic panels support the domestic electrical system, while Greenline's optional HDrive places an electric motor between the diesel engine and shaft. The helm can switch between diesel and electric operation; when the diesel is running, the electric machine can act as a generator. This is not a battery-only yacht with a token engine, but a diesel cruiser designed to enter anchorages or marinas quietly and run hotel loads with less generator use. Buyers should distinguish the hybrid propulsion battery from the smaller service bank and specify the exact HDrive generation, because equipment has changed during the model's production life.

Current US-market material lists a 25 kW HDrive paired with either a 250 hp or 370 hp Yanmar diesel. Earlier official brochures quote up to 20 nautical miles in electric mode at 5 knots. Diesel top speed depends on the selected engine, load and hull condition; the old single 16-knot figure did not describe every configuration.

Battery and Charging

Energy can come from shore power, the integrated solar array or the HDrive acting as a generator under diesel power. Battery size varies by generation and option, so the prior 26 kWh claim has been removed. Confirm propulsion-battery chemistry and usable capacity separately from the 12 V service bank when comparing boats.

Availability and Pricing

Greenline 39 remains a current model. Greenline's US distributor lists pricing from US$490,000 with its High Standard package, but hybrid propulsion, engine, electronics and regional taxes affect the delivered total. Request a line-item specification and current build slot from an authorized dealer.
