About the Vesper

The Lanéva Vesper is a 7.9-metre premium electric dayboat developed around a dedicated electric hull rather than converted from a combustion platform. Its single-shaft 140 kW drive draws from a 126 kWh DNV-certified lithium-ion NMC battery, and the cockpit carries up to eight people. Lanéva emphasizes bio-based and recyclable materials, including flax fibre, basalt fibre, cork and marine synthetic upholstery. A telemetry and digital-switching system monitors temperature, voltage, current, charging and other powertrain data locally or remotely. The current Vesper 001 sale page describes a 2019 boat refitted in 2023, while other Lanéva pages discuss the Vesper platform more broadly and publish slightly different speed, range and price figures. Buyers should therefore separate the specific used/refitted vessel from any new custom build proposal.

Best For

  • Premium Riviera-style day trips and hotel guest transfers
  • Buyers seeking a bespoke electric runabout with rapid DC charging

Performance in Context

The Vesper 001 page lists 25 knots and 30–40 NM. Lanéva’s FAQ says range varies sharply by speed, citing 45 NM at 10 knots, 24 NM at 15 knots and 28 NM at 25 knots under its test assumptions.

Battery and Charging

AC and DC charging are supported. Lanéva says a 75 kW DC charger can replenish the pack in about 1.5 hours; AC time depends on shore-power capacity. Confirm connector, charge curve and infrastructure with the seller.

Availability and Pricing

Lanéva lists the refitted Vesper 001 for direct sale and also offers custom electric builds. Published prices and details differ among company pages, so request a dated specification, equipment inventory, warranty terms and delivery quote.
