About the NV1 Founders Edition

The NV1 Founders Edition is ENVGO's showcase electric hydrofoil, applying control-system experience from autonomous aircraft to a 25-foot recreational boat. Active foils and a sensor-driven controller stabilize the boat above the surface, reducing drag and wave impact while making continual automated corrections. ENVGO now publishes 80 km/h maximum speed, up to 100 km of range and 330 hp, replacing the older directory claim of 80 miles. The boat carries six people in an 8.5-foot-beam hull, with 32 inches of draft when the foils are retracted and 60 inches when deployed at rest. ENVGO unveiled the US Founders Edition at Palm Beach in 2026 and offers invitation-based sea trials. The NV1 also demonstrates technology that the company is adapting for commercial and autonomous uses, so availability is more limited than that of a conventional production runabout.
