About the AX/E 22

The AX/E 22 adapts Axopar's twin-stepped 22-foot hull to an Evoy Breeze electric outboard and a single 63 kWh Kreisel battery. Axopar lists 120 hp nominal and 180 hp peak output, a 36-knot maximum and CE Category C capacity for six people. Range changes markedly with speed: approximately 17 nautical miles at 25 knots versus up to 60 nautical miles at five knots. Spyder and T-Top versions are offered, with a modular aft area that can be configured for storage or a U-shaped sofa. Navigation, battery status and range information are integrated at the helm, while the connected app supports trip logging, charging management and remote access. At about 1,990 kg, this is a high-performance coastal day boat whose useful route length depends more on chosen speed than the headline slow-speed range.

Best For

  • Short fast coastal trips with predictable charging access
  • Drivers wanting Axopar handling with an electric outboard

Performance in Context

Official figures are 36 knots maximum, about 17 nautical miles at 25 knots and up to 60 nautical miles at five knots. Equipment, passenger load, weather and sea state affect all three. Route planning should use the range at the intended cruising speed and retain a reserve.

Battery and Charging

The 63 kWh battery supports DC charging and flexible AC options. Axopar quotes roughly 50–60 minutes to 80 percent on 120–150 kW DC, about 1 hour 24 minutes on 40 kW three-phase AC, or approximately 9 hours 25 minutes on the standard 6 kW single-phase charger.

Availability and Pricing

The AX/E 22 remains in Axopar's current range in Spyder and T-Top forms. Public price sheets exclude items such as motor, battery, tax, freight and handover, so the old €229,000 figure has been removed. Compare only complete delivered quotations.
