About the IE 150
Best For
- Centre consoles and larger recreational boats
- Commercial workboats requiring an integrated 800 V system
- Projects designed around an 86 kWh or customized battery bank
Performance in Context
ACEL publishes rated and peak horsepower but does not provide a universal range or speed result for the IE 150. Hull resistance, propeller, load, battery capacity and operating speed determine both. The 200 hp figure is peak output; 150 hp is the rated comparison figure. A project proposal should include a route-based energy model and identify test conditions behind any promised speed or range.
Battery and Charging
The standard LFP configuration stores 86 kWh across six modules and weighs roughly 617 kg based on ACEL's published total. Semi-solid-state modules are available for customized systems. ACEL lists portable charging options up to 6.6 kW and DC fast charging with an indicated one-hour target. The existing record incorrectly treated the 800 V architecture as an 800 kW charge rate; those are unrelated measurements, and the unsupported charge-power value has been removed.
Availability and Pricing
ACEL lists the IE 150 as available for pre-order with an expected 12-to-14-week delivery after confirmation. Pricing is not published on the current product page. Confirm the production specification, battery chemistry, charger, shaft, controls, installation and tiered component warranties in writing.
