About the Arc Coast

The Arc Coast applies Arc's high-capacity electric platform to a 24-foot centre-console layout rather than the tow-sports format of the Arc Sport. Arc specifies a 226 kWh battery, 400 hp and a 50 mph top speed, with seating for up to ten. The drivetrain uses a trimmable sterndrive, which distinguishes it from fixed inboard arrangements and gives the operator control over running attitude. A fiberglass hull and open deck are intended to support cruising, fishing and day-boat use. The model is still described by Arc as 'hitting the water soon,' so the published specification should be treated as pre-delivery product information rather than a record of customer boats in service. Buyers should confirm final dimensions, weight, standard equipment and warranty in the purchase agreement once Arc opens full configuration.

Best For

  • Buyers reserving a high-powered electric centre console
  • Day boating, fishing and coastal cruising from a home dock
  • Owners with reliable overnight shore charging

Performance in Context

Arc publishes 50 mph as the maximum speed, but has not posted a speed-by-range table for the Coast. The company describes a full day of mixed use and more than 24 hours at low speed across its boat platform. Those are duty-cycle descriptions rather than a fixed-mile range. Passenger load, weather, trim, speed and accessory use will materially change endurance.

Battery and Charging

The 226 kWh pack uses Arc's CCS1-compatible charging architecture. Level 2 charging is intended for overnight dockside use, while compatible DC fast charging can shorten turnaround. Arc notes that charge time can range from about an hour to multiple days depending on the power source. Final Coast charge limits and included charging hardware should be verified before installation planning.

Availability and Pricing

Arc is accepting fully refundable reservations without a deposit, but describes the Coast as an upcoming model and does not display a current base price on its reservation page. The previous $168,000 directory figure has therefore been removed. A reservation is not a purchase agreement, and production timing, options and final price remain subject to confirmation with Arc.
