About the Fliteboard Series 3

Series 3 was Fliteboard's broad third-generation eFoil platform rather than one fixed specification. Buyers could pair the approachable AIR or standard 100-litre Fliteboard with different mast lengths, wings, propulsion choices and Flitecell batteries; the PRO and ULTRA models served more experienced riders. The standard Fliteboard measured 1,735 by 714 mm and weighed 11.9 kg in carbon or 12.8 kg in fibreglass before the mast, wings and battery. That modularity is still useful on the used market, but it also means an advertisement saying only “Series 3” is incomplete. Confirm the exact board construction, eDrive version, mast, wing and battery before comparing price or weight. Fliteboard now sells newer generations, so Series 3 should be evaluated as a legacy package whose condition and included parts matter more than its former list price.

Flite's Series 3 guide describes a family of configurations, so there is no single verified top speed or motor output for every package. Wing size, propulsion choice, rider weight and water conditions materially change the ride. Ask the seller to identify every component rather than relying on a headline Series 3 figure.

Battery and Charging

The official guide quotes up to 90 minutes with Flitecell Explore for an 85 kg rider, with more than two hours possible only in an efficient large-wing, low-speed setup. Battery age, storage and charge history are especially important on used examples. Confirm the battery model and compatible charger before purchase.

Availability and Pricing

Series 3 is no longer Fliteboard's current retail generation. The former US$9,995 starting price has been removed because it is not a useful guide to remaining stock or used packages. Value depends on board material, eDrive, battery, wings, charger, controller, condition and support history.
