About the Waydoo Flyer EVO Series

The Flyer EVO is a modular eFoil platform rather than a single fixed specification. Waydoo currently offers Lite, Max Plus, Pro Plus and Master Plus packages using different board volumes, masts, wings, motors and batteries. The Lite combines a 90-litre board with a 4 kW drive, while the other packages use 6 kW propulsion. The 130-litre Max Plus is aimed at stability and first flights; the 90-litre Pro Plus covers a wider progression range; and the 75-litre Master Plus uses a smaller Kevlar board and performance hardware for experienced riders. Seven separable modules allow owners to replace or upgrade parts without changing the whole kit. That flexibility is the main reason to list the EVO as a family: speed, rider weight, battery and price all depend on the selected package, and the old single 22 mph/6 kW specification mixed values from different versions.

Performance in Context

Waydoo lists 22.4 mph for the Lite, 28 mph for Max Plus and Pro Plus, and 32 mph for Master Plus in its current US comparison. Regional pages differ on the Pro Plus maximum, so buyers should use the exact local package sheet. Advertised runtime is up to 100 minutes for Lite and 120 minutes for the larger-battery versions; real sessions often vary with rider weight, speed, wing, water and temperature.

Battery and Charging

The Lite uses an 1,800 Wh Powerflight battery, while current Plus packages use a 2,300 Wh pack. The battery includes an LCD status screen, sealed aluminium enclosure and leak alerts. Waydoo's Pro Plus page lists about 3.5 hours to charge. Battery shipping and airline transport are restricted by lithium-battery rules, so travel logistics should be checked before purchase.

Availability and Pricing

Waydoo's US store lists the EVO Lite from US$4,899, with higher prices for the larger and performance packages. Promotions change frequently and regional configurations are not identical. Buyers should compare the board, mast, propulsion unit, wing set, battery and charger in the cart rather than comparing only the family name.
