About the Q30

The Q Yachts Q30 takes a different route from high-speed electric runabouts. Its narrow, hydrodynamically efficient 9.3-metre hull is designed around quiet displacement cruising, with twin 10 kW Torqeedo Cruise fixed pods and a 30 kWh lithium battery. Q Yachts publishes 60 nautical miles at six knots, 42 nautical miles at nine knots and 21 nautical miles at the 14-knot maximum. Individually rotating pods support drive-by-wire joystick control, including sideways docking and station-keeping functions. Below deck, a bright cabin adds overnight potential, while a refrigerator, water point and freshwater electric toilet make the boat more than a bare day launch. The modest battery and twin-pod arrangement favor efficient coastal and lake trips; buyers expecting sustained planing speed should look at a different class of boat.

The official figures show the speed tradeoff clearly: 60 nautical miles and ten hours at six knots, 42 nautical miles and five hours at nine knots, or 21 nautical miles and 1.5 hours at 14 knots. Treat them as manufacturer ratings and allow for payload, wind, current, temperature and battery condition.

Battery and Charging

A 30 kWh lithium pack is standard, with an additional 10 kWh offered as an option. The boat includes a 220 V AC shore charger intended for overnight charging, and fast chargers are optional. Confirm the onboard-charger rating, plug type and charge time for the selected battery and destination marina.

Availability and Pricing

Q Yachts continues to present the Q30 and an online configurator, but it does not show a reliable current base price on the model page. The previous estimated €183,000 figure was not a confirmed advertised price and has been removed.
