About the KRONOS 300

The KRONOS 300 sits at the top of Weenav's electric-outboard range, which spans 80 to 300 hp continuous. Weenav publishes continuous output of 220 kW, a 300 kW short-term peak and 752 Nm of propeller torque for this model. Those figures put it in a different class from portable outboards: the intended installations are larger leisure boats, workboats and passenger operations that need sustained power rather than a small auxiliary drive. The motor package incorporates the propulsion controls and is paired with a Garmin-based display for energy and navigation data. Weenav says the system can be fitted to a compatible hull as a new installation or as a replacement for a combustion outboard without structural changes to the boat. Final engineering still depends on the hull, weight distribution, duty cycle and battery placement, so a KRONOS installation is a configured propulsion project rather than a motor selected in isolation.

Performance in Context

Weenav associates the 300 hp version with a maximum speed of 45 knots and advertises range of up to 100 nautical miles. Neither figure is universal. Speed and range change with hull efficiency, displacement, sea state, route, battery capacity and throttle use. The continuous 220 kW rating is the more useful starting point when comparing the motor with other high-output electric systems; the 300 kW figure is peak output. Buyers should request a vessel-specific energy and performance calculation before treating either published maximum as an operating expectation.

Battery and Charging

The current KRONOS 250 and 300 battery configuration described by Weenav uses eleven modular LFP solid-state modules with 59.7 kWh of total capacity. Battery modules are distributed within the hull, so installation affects space and weight balance even though the motor is mounted outside. A 22 kW three-phase onboard charger is standard. Weenav also lists CCS charging at up to 200 kW, with a claimed 10-to-90-percent charge in about 30 minutes when the battery and charging site can sustain that rate. Actual charging speed will depend on the configured pack, temperature, state of charge and available shore equipment.

Availability and Pricing

Weenav sells the KRONOS as a configured system and does not publish a fixed retail price for the KRONOS 300. The motor, battery capacity, controls, installation work and charging equipment should be priced together. The company offers direct project support and works with distributors; buyers should request a written specification that identifies which components and commissioning services are included.
